Captain Witold Pilecki – The Auschwitz Volunteer !

Bohater i Bestia

Captain Witold Pilecki was tortured by Eugeniusz Chimczak. Until his death in 2012, this sadist of the secret police received a colonel’s pension. The torturers threw Pilecki’s body into an unnamed pit in the „Łączka” district in Warsaw. Years have passed since the crimes, we hope that the hero of the fight against the two totalitarian regimes will be identified.

This year 2020 is very hard to endure everything that happened in this world at the same time. All this affects each of us somehow „equally” … In addition, I found myself in such a situation that it was necessary to save my health by undergoing surgery. I am already at home, surrounded by friendly people who surround me and cheer me with the words: „Everything will be fine.” And it is with this hope that I enclose the following information.”

A few hours before taking me to the hospital, I checked naszepismo.pl and noted that it was not bad … It was the most enjoyable (and it makes me) that our Hero Witold Pilecki was visited a few days ago by nearly 500 readers of our website. I even exchanged an e-mail with the author of this wonderful article – with Andrzej Balcerzek, saying that “the greatest joy after returning home will give me this magic number – 500 !! Why? Because in the opinion of people from the so-called „Networks”, this „magic number” is a testimony that the article is included in the TOP500, which I could only dream of creating together with people of good will naszepismo.pl. Today, when I am about to do something myself, I see that Captain Pilecki has already visited 600 of his friends and on his behalf I would like to thank everyone for this beautiful and human gesture!

I would also like to add that this article and its content and message were given in English, and this is the most interesting study in the history of the Polish media about whether Polishness is dying out in the Emigration, or it must be found in a multicultural environment. I think that Poles living in Poland and abroad will comment on this in the comments.

Personally, I am grateful to the author, Andrzej Balcerzak, for this article and his participation in co-creating our medium! On behalf of myself and my colleagues, I am sending Mr. Andrzej heartfelt congratulations!
